Operation Hellfish is the fourth mission from the third level of The Simpsons: Hit & Run.

Plot[]

Lisa talks to her grandfather about how Bart disappeared, and asks if he's seen him. Abe tells Lisa that he saw his grandson's lucky red hat fall out of a black car.

Lisa congratulates Abe on giving her a clue about Bart and decides to buy the School Bus from Otto Mann, which she believes should be big enough to wreck the black car. After getting Bart's red hat, she wrecks the black sedans she finds throughout Squidport. However, none of them had Bart inside, leading Lisa to consult the police.

Tasks[]

  1. Purchase the School Bus from Otto (Or phone booth).
  2. Collect the red hat.
  3. Chase after and destroy the first sedan.
  4. Drive to the Aztec Theatre and destroy the next one.
  5. Go to Planet Hype and destroy the last one.

Tips[]

  • The one hit wreck cheat can make this very easy.
  • The Chase Sedan used in this mission has a far lower top speed than normal, making it easy for the School Bus to catch up to it.
  • Although the School Bus is a solid choice for this mission due to its toughness, size, and weight, the player can swap out for a different car that better suits their fancy after the School Bus is selected for the mission, should they desire.
  • Once a Chase Sedan is destroyed, there is no time limit to get to the next destination, so don't feel too pressured to get there quickly, and drive safely. Ensure that your vehicle isn't damaged too heavily getting to the next destination.
  • The first Chase Sedan, should it not deviate too harshly from its intended course, has a tendency to slam into the bridge structure as it attempts to turn left, causing a good amount of damage to it.
  • The second Chase Sedan that appears at the Aztec Theater spawns very close to the building. Ramming it head on can often cause the Chase Sedan to slam into the Aztec Theater entrance for massive damage.

Transcript[]

Lisa: Grampa, can you help me find Bart? He's missing.

Abe: Maybe I'm just a senile old man, but Bart's lucky red hat fell out of that black car.

Lisa: Wow, Grampa, what a great clue! You showed why senior citizens are valuable members of the community.

Abe: I think my baby teeth are growing back! That's why I had to punch that nurse!

Lisa: I better use something big if I want to take that car out.....like that School Bus!

(Lisa sees Otto at the Kamp Krusty)

Lisa: Otto, I know I'm a little young to be asking this...

Otto: Look, I don't have any special brownies left, I ate them all.

Lisa: But do you think I can use your school bus?

Otto: Oh, right, cool. Meet my price and she's all yours, little lady!

(Lisa finds and picks up Bart's red hat at the Observatory, and discovers a government agent car; she then destroys all of the possible cars to find any clues but all of them were empty)

Lisa: (gasps) It's empty! What's going on in this town?

Trivia[]

  • This is the first mission where Grampa has a story role, as in Level 1, he only appears walking around the Retirement Castle and in Level 2, he appears as the character who gives the player the bonus mission which doesn't affect the actual plot in any way.
